I am interested in expressing internal states that we all share, but that perhaps we don’t have language for. My work is born out of my meditation practice and my work as a therapist. I draw from this experience and explore the deeper undercurrents that flow within and between us.

I make print based work with a focus on woodcut and monoprint. Print making is an ideal medium as I see the press as a transformational object, it has an alchemy, capturing moments of change. Rarely creating editions, I prefer the individuality of the moment to be present in the work.

I am interested in the transference that occurs between the work and the viewer. Through the work I seek to communicate something of the shared nature of inner experience.
