Dreams of Home (2025) Tent, collaged photographs, text, latex, lights, card, plastic and egg shell,

Installation exploring the experience of migrant solidarity volunteers in Calais. Based on photographs and interviews that I and others took in the camps. Viewers are invited to look inside the top of the tent and to walk around it to view the work on the walls.

Humans have always travelled, always migrated, it is part of who we are and how we came to be spread across the globe. It is nothing new. The view from above, the zoom out on this, is what the piece is about. We all dream of home, although it is ultimately always temporary.
